Jalisa is an adorable, 45-pound female American Staffordshire terrier mix who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A24042087.
The dog was found as a stray. She knows how to “sit” and is housetrained.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Kiwi is a sweetheart
Kiwi is a sweet young gentleman who is in search of a permanent home. His current owner has cancer, and is trying to find a home for him through Northeast Animal Rescue without taking him to animal control. He was abandoned once before, found wandering along the banks of the Delaware River.
The 3-year-old cat is shy at first, but very affectionate once he warms up to you. He gets along with other cats.
Kiwi is neutered, front declawed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
